The audacity of some folks in these comments. This was my first time trying a five-strand crown braid instead of the woven five-strand (or a simpler braid entirely), and it worked great with the challah dough I make every week. Many thanks to the poster for sharing their process!

Where do you put the clip or the rubber band? Just glue gun it on? Does it fall off?? Does the glue stick if you try it that way?? Please let us know how you attach the rubber band so it stays in the hair! Thank you!!!!! It’s so cute!

Numbering strand positions left to right. 1 to 5 1. The 5 strand crosses over 2,3, and 4 (just under 1/becomes new 2nd strand) 2. The 1 is crossed over 2 and 3. 3. Then 2 is crossed over 3 4. Repeat. That's what I surmised from the video. Best I could see. Even more simplified ( these are position numbers) 1. 5 move left over 2 2. 1 move right over 3 3. 2 move right over 3 4. Repeat

I couldn’t follow what you were doing.

Explaining the direction and going a bit slower would help, as well as using only one hand because its hard to follow two hands going in different directions

I made something like that for Christmas but filled with onions and poppy seeds. And only two braids and then shaped into a wreath... It was nice... Now i want to make more filled with all sorts of things!!

Nicely done (and great music choice)! I just learned this braid and finally got my hands on a magnificent challah recipe from Mandylicious challah (just shared it on my channel). Setting the camera up in that one angle did not help us any but the end result looked nice.

I actually did this exact same thing before watching this video. Except I added a pack of note pages to the back for grocery list/to do lists and keeping track of each of our debt account balances individually. Great minds think a like! I was so excited when mambi came out with these extension packs because I do not need a weekly section for a budget planner and was considering the Erin condren monthly deluxe but didn’t want to spend the money. So I used the cover and discs from a previous hp I had and used coupons for the three extension packs so made this planner for less than $10 when the ec would have cost me at least $30. Budgeting win!

These look great..I'm about to make some volleyball ones for my niece's team...My question is: How do I do the names (actually I was going to do their volleyball numbers) do I buy iron on letters and numbers and put them on what? do I iron them on one at a time..what kind of plastic sheet can I put them on so I don't have to iron them one letter at a time
